Has worked on over 130 Platinum and Gold albums in various genres as a Producer, Mixer, or Recording Engineer with artists such as Madonna, Shakira, Tyler the Creator, Christina Aguilera, Pharrell, Fergie, Richard Marx, OhLand, J-Lo, Enrique Iglesias, Vertical Horizon, Adam Lambert, Nelly Furtado, etc.
A professional mix will enhance the tone, imaging, amplitude, depth and overall presence of every track to create a competitive product. The song or project will now be at the same technical level as major label releases. This is especially advantageous for recordings done in project/home studios.
For this process to be successful all source tracks must be Mix-Ready. Mix-Ready tracks means that the tracks are consolidated and only contain information that is to be used. The tracks should not require editing or source replacements.
Once the Mix is done the client will receive a reference to evaluate. Using the feedback provided by the client the Mix will be tweaked and completed to the client's satisfaction.
For the mixing process a commercially released song of the client's choosing is used as a reference of the client's taste and sonic preferences.
Mastering may include but is not limited to:
Sonic Enhancement and Correction with EQ > other tools
Dynamic Enhancement and Optimization
Stereo Image Enhancement
Sequencing, Spacing, Fades, Song Editing
PQ, ISRC and text Encoding With CD Verification
Audio Restoration
Mastering has evolved into two categories. First is the use of the traditional stereo mix. The second option involves multi-track stems or separations. Although stems are not used for remixing your tracks, they do allow for greater mastering flexibility by allowing access to selected individual tracks.
As with Mixing, for the mastering process a commercially released song of the client's choosing is used as a reference of the client's taste and sonic preferences.
